Batch '91 supports Little League CamSur, feeds athletes

Speaking before the Little League Baseball Association - Camarines Sur Chapter, ADNU High School Batch '91 President, Alberto Bercasio, proudly told the delegates that three of his batch mates were very good baseball players: "tolo po sa samuyang mga ka-batch, an naging pambato kan Pilipinas sa international baseball competition sa Japan na iyo po sinda Mandy Francisco, Patrick Favoreal asin an pan-tolo po na iyo si Mota Aguilar, yaon po dyan sa likod, dae lang po sya nakasali nin huli ta na-injured po siya bago an laban."

Bercasio's message elicited a loud applause from the little players as they all turned their back, looking in awe towards Mota Aguilar who, without expecting to see all their admiring little faces, happily waved to the little athletes as the rest of the batch mates bursted in laughter from behind.

Bercasio continued on to say, that having batch mates who excelled in the sports of baseball, "dae po kami nagduwa-duwa magtabang ta an baseball po harani sa puso kan samuyang batch."

With barely two days from the officers' meeting on the evening of October 8, 2015, the Batch '91 were able to immediately mobilize themselves to feed more than a couple hundred athletes competing in the Closing of Series 1 of the 1st Little League Baseball Association - Camarines Sur Chapter held last October 10, 2015 in Dugcal, Camaligan.

The batch mates brought in goto and served it to the little athletes who all enjoyed the hot treat in styro bowls.

The batch mates were happy as they shared time with the children who came from various municipalities of Camarines Sur. The little athletes were all smiles as they enjoyed the treat before the games.

Being present to support the league games, Batch '91 members were invited to grace the Ceremonial Pitching of the Ball. Dr. Suzette Llanza, District Supervisor for Camaligan District pitched the baseball. Assisting her is the Overall Coordinator, Engr. Antonio Abay (ADNU HS '75).
